Time it currently takes one person to complete the task, in minutes. Use measured time where possible.
How many times the task occurs in the selected period (e.g., 5 per day).
Choose the period for the frequency above.
Use fully loaded cost (wages + benefits + overhead) to estimate labor savings. If unknown, use a conservative estimate.
If errors occur, enter the average direct cost per error (rework, fines, refunds, customer-impacted cost). Leave blank if negligible.

Percent reduction in task time after automation. Use a conservative figure (e.g., 20-50%).
