Operating Rhythms Plan

Plan reliable operating rhythms that keep your team aligned

Use this interactive worksheet to capture the meeting cadences you will run, who owns each rhythm, a short agenda template, and the key metrics or handoffs you will monitor. Save your plan so your team can adopt consistent rituals, reduce ad-hoc meetings, and make handoffs clear.

Tips: Start small (one or two rhythms), name an owner for each rhythm, and choose one metric or outcome the rhythm will protect.

Name the team or cross-team group that will use these rhythms (e.g., Product, Ops, Nursing Unit A).
Briefly describe what you want to achieve (reduce missed handoffs, speed decisions, align on priorities, etc.).
Examples: duplicated work, delayed approvals, unclear owners, too many long meetings.
Select all that apply. You will define up to three rhythms below.
Give the rhythm a short name.
Choose the frequency.
How long will this usually take? (e.g., 10, 45, 90)
What decisions or risks does this rhythm protect? Keep it to one sentence.
Who schedules, runs, and ensures follow-up?
List the roles or people who should attend regularly.
A short template (3–6 bullets). Example: 1) Metrics snapshot (3 min), 2) Blockers & help requests (4 min), 3) One decision (3 min).
List 3–5 metrics or outcomes and which rhythm will monitor each (e.g., Cycle time — Weekly Tactical).
Describe important handoffs, who is responsible, and which rhythm will check them.
Choose the method you will use to ensure blockers get handled.
Be specific: who will create calendar invites, who will share agenda templates, and when the first meeting will occur.
Enter a start date or week (e.g., 2026-09-01 or week of Sep 7).
If yes, remember to export or copy the saved plan into your team space or calendar invite.
