Innovation Capability Maturity Self‑Assessment
Interactive staged maturity assessment across six dimensions (strategy, governance, people & skills, data & tooling, processes, culture) with scored diagnostic questions, guidance for scoring and interpretation, prioritized focus checklists, and fields to capture commitments and contextual metadata.
Innovation Capability Maturity Self‑Assessment
Purpose
This self‑assessment helps teams and organizations diagnose practical innovation capability across six dimensions, produce simple scores you can act on, and capture prioritized next steps. Answer honestly based on current performance, not aspiration.
How to use it
- For each statement, select the score that best matches current reality (1 = Not true / rarely, 5 = True / consistently).
- After submitting, calculate the average score for each dimension by averaging the items for that dimension. Use the interpretation bands below to identify strengths and gaps.
- Choose 1–3 focus areas and record concrete next steps you will commit to test and measure in the next 30–90 days.
Scoring interpretation (per dimension average)
- 1.0–1.9: Nascent — capability is largely ad‑hoc; start with small experiments and clear governance.
- 2.0–2.9: Emerging — some practices exist but they are inconsistent; prioritize standardizing the highest‑impact practices.
- 3.0–3.9: Foundational — capability is repeatable in pockets; scale what works and close remaining gaps.
- 4.0–5.0: Advanced — capability is largely repeatable and measured; accelerate learning loops and explore strategic bets.
